Biography:
Bodhi brings over 25 years of teaching experience to Episcopal, where he teaches French, serves on the Freshman dorm team, and acts as the defensive coordinator for varsity football. His versatile background includes teaching English, mathematics, and technology. Beyond the classroom, he directs Episcopal's summer linguistic and cultural exchange with Collège Stanislas in Paris.

Prior to joining Episcopal, Bodhi taught French, served as a dormitory head, and coached at his alma mater, the Groton School. His lifelong connection to the Francophone world includes an extended period living in France, where he studied at La Sorbonne while playing for and coaching Les Météores. He later returned to France to earn his master's degree through NYU Paris. His travels also include a sabbatical in West Africa, during which he motorcycled from Paris to Dakar to study Wolof and consult in Senegal.

Bodhi earned his bachelor's degree from Williams College, where he enjoyed his classes in French, philosophy, religion, and art history. A practitioner of meditation and tai chi chuan for five decades, Bodhi lives on campus with his wife, Lisa, and their dog, Danny.
